One Pill One Can Kill 30-Minute Documentary & Social Campaign
Jillian Olsen | Supervising Producer | Format Development, Creative Direction
This project began as a 30-minute documentary created for broadcast television and the Very Local streaming platform, designed to spotlight the powerful stories of local families and the moments that shaped their lives.
I helped develop the storytelling format and led the creative execution across narrative structure, editing, and graphics to create an emotionally resonant documentary experience that could translate across multiple platforms.
In addition to the full-length broadcast film, we developed a companion series of 3–5 minute short-form documentaries, each focused on a single family and optimized for social audiences while maintaining the cinematic storytelling approach of the original film.
The result was a multi-platform storytelling project that connected deeply with audiences and significantly expanded the reach of the documentary.
